Nail Polish Obsession!

These are my most recent nail polish purchases over the past few months. I'm trying to collect more China Glaze & OPI's---my fave nail polish brands! I can't pick between which is my favorite since they both last pretty long on my nails (this is also thanks to the BEST top coat evaaarrr~SECHE VITE!) and they both have wonderful selections of polish. Beauty Rush Nail polishes from Victoria's Secret are also pretty good. They glide on well and also last as long as CG & OPI. There are so many more CG & OPI polishes i want to buy! haha. Especially CG's Up & Away collection *drools*. In the meantime, i'll be doing more nail polish swatches of those up there :D

I went to my cousins' joint birthday party last week & matched my skirt with my nails. haha

[TUTORIAL] Strawberry Flavor nail

I did a strawberry theme for my nails today! I was thinking of doing cheetah print, but maybe next time. i was feeling strawberry~hahah

What i used: Seche Vite Top Coat, China Glaze Raspberry Festival, White Sally Hansen nail polish, China Glaze Tree Hugger, Beauty Rush nail polish in Hot Pink, toothpick to make dots, & nail gemstones~


Mix & Match Raspberry Festival & Hot Pink. Wait for it to dry, then go to the next step.



Next, make french tips with the Green nail polish (Tree Hugger). Wait for it to dry. It's okay if it's not perfect~my hands are still shaky sometimes. I need more practice!


I forgot to take pictures of the dotting, but it's really easy & my favorite part! It's best to pour a little of the white nail polish on a piece of paper & then dipping the toothpick. Once you do that, use the toothpick to put random dots on your nails.

Once the dots dry, use the top coat. Take your gems and put it where the green & pink merge. Make sure to put them on while the top coat is still wet!

Last step: Put another coat of top coat~

& Voila~!

I'm hoping to improve my control of the brush. I hate when my hands get shaky & i mess up & have to start over! I also wish i was ambidextrous. My left hand is especially shaky when i do my right hand! LOL

I got my Keeps yesterday! Woohoo! My converses are already so beat up & I needed new sneakers. haha. It's comfortable & true to size. I love the design~good deal & good buy! I'm glad i saw the sale going on at 6.pm.com. Their shipping is pretty fast! I ordered on Friday & got it on Wednesday :)

Pre & Post Valentines~

Dumplings, Broccoli-Onion-Sweet Potato Tempura, Fried Banana, Volcano Rolls, 3 California Rolls, Rice :D mmm mmm!

Couldn't see my bb on Valentines, so we went to eat the Thursday before Vday and the day after Vday. haha We went to eat our favorite---Fresh Spring Rolls--on Thursday at Pho 78. We went to eat at Inaka Sushi on Monday. The fresh spring rolls were delicious as usual! It was my first time eating at Inaka Sushi & it was great! The people there were really friendly and attentive. I loved the bento lunch i got. So filling & delicious! I got the Volcano Roll bento box & Paul got the Salmon bento box.

Free Scrapbook/Photobook~

I received my free scrapbook yesterday from hotprints.com. I was a little apprehensive about it since everything was free(even shipping!), but i got it! At hotprints.com, all you have to do is sign up & then gather the photos you want to use for the photobook & choose from various designs and positions that you want your photos to be in. It's really easy :D You can even add your own captions for each picture. You get up to about 16 pages of good quality printed pictures~

The best thing about this is that you can print out one free photobook each month! It took about 3 weeks to receive my photobook/scrapbook.

The only catch is that they put 2 pages (front & back) of ads in the middle of the photobook. It's not too bad though~i love my photobook & can't wait to make more!
